Not only is Stephen Hunter a very good thriller writer and a great story teller, but depics the use of firearms more acuratly than any fiction writer I have ever read. You can tell he has done his homework concerning caliber type, mag changes, revolver vs semi-auto, sniper rifles, and actual handgun shoot-outs. As a gun guy and an avid reader, this guy I can highly recommend. Whats cool is that his books run together, meaning the same central caracters are used in each book with trips to the past explaining the present (dosn't sound cool the way I explain it, but it is)some of his reads are; Black Light, Dirty White Boys, Hot Springs, and Pale Horse Comeing. If anyone knows of any other books by him, please let me so I can try and find them.
