Hi guys, I've been sprung from the hospital! I don't know when I'll be back on the range; Doc said to take it easy, not even driving for 6-8 weeks; I'll bet that includes no shooting any of my Russian Moisin Nagant M44 carbines with the steel buttplates or even my fav Glocks!

I really appreciate all the posts, calls and private emails of encouragement guys; it really helped! I'm going to have a lot of spare time for a while; too bad I can't at least reload while I'm housebound!

Take care all and I'll see you on the range soon.

Hey Dan if it's only 6-8 weeks without driving you can do it. I had to go 12 and that's a pain in the butt. Take it easy and may you have a smooth recovery! ;f

Hang tough TrooperDan. Keep active but pace yourself. I was in better shape six months after my surgery than I had been the ten years before.:)

Glad to hear the good news! Continue to feel well. 6-8 weeks sounds like a long time, but it will go fast, especially with Nurse Nan at your side ;)
