    I started with a G19 gen 3 in 2016. I got both the G26 gen 4 and G19X this year. I hope to keep adding to the collection. G19.jpg G19X.jpg G26.jpg

I like the G45 even though it's very similar to the 19X. I also saw a Gen 3 G17 on clearance. Any suggestions? I like 9mm and I'm trying to keep things in the same caliber even though I have the FN FNX 45.

The Gen 3 Glock 17 was my first, I bought it as mainly a collectible because the 'C' series is not in production anymore.

..that said, I now own 8 in my collection, I just like the mechanical simplicity of Glocks. I really like the 26 & own two of 'em.

My EDC is usually a Glock 42 or 43.

I’m a 9mm guy, however, I like to have a gun or two in a different caliber. You never know when 9mm will dry up and/or become prohibitively expensive.

You would have both ends of the 9mm line covered adding a G34 gen 4 next. :)

The 34 is s very sweet shooter. And gen 3s can be found at a reasonable price.

Definitely consider the Glock 34 for your collection. Or even the Glock 17L. Nice collection of Glock 9mm pistols. Enjoy and be safe.

    Well, it's a start ;)

    Welcome to the forum!

If you're going to stick with Glock, I certainly hope you consider not only adding different models but different calibers as well. And in that respect I suggest a larger caliber platform such as a .357sig/.40S&W or 10mm model that can easily be converted down, whereas the 9mm platforms cannot easily be converted up to larger calibers if you one day down the road decided to ponder such a conversion.

Lastly, I believe that you owe it to yourself to discover the plethora of other firearm manufacturers and models of handgun out there besides Glock, as there are many which I feel are just as good or better, with some for less $$.
