Time's a wastin.....have you started buying ammo yet?
I'll check back in June.
Price is good, don't bother buying boxes.
Buy a case, just in case.
Dropping in to Walmart for practice ammo used to be easy. Not anymore.
Mail order sales are already infringed upon in several democrat states, this might be coming soon.
Stock up while you can.
I`m buying what i can afford when i find it. Shops are drying up, shops are closing. Prices have gone nuts since the jerry`s/elliot brothers wholesale business crashed. Dealers and shops are telling me that their wholesalers they have now cant keep up with demand. And the wholesalers they are dealing with have higher prices than jerry`s had. People can believe whatever, the gun business is not making money if they have higher prices and slim pickins for inventory. Just last summer, a brick of primers were $30 average, went to buy some yesterday, price is now $44 a brick, so i left them on the shelf until i cant find them anywhere else. But i do live in the biggest anti-gun state, so, there`s that to deal with as well.
Anyone who hasn't STARTED buying ammo by now won't care that anyone feels it necessary to check on them
Having extra ammo and a couple spare guns is smart.
One of my earlier points from last year when I started this thread.
a Chinese SKS (or three) from classic firearms would probably be a wise investment right now!
Oh, and don't forget the ammo!
Your thread was successful but your prediction was a whiff
It's not summer yet.
Wait for it......
For what the SKSs are selling for today you would probably be better off to buy a couple of PSA AR15s.
I just gotta wonder how many of the naysayers logged on to "ammo cheap.from" and ordered 7.3 bazillions rounds of their favorite flavor immediately after insisting its never gonna happen again.
This is my opinion.
No such thing as to many guns or to much ammunition.
Well, the "buy ammo now!" threads are starting to sound like the "buy gold" & "buy silver!" TV ads, but truth is, it has become more difficult to buy ammo for many. Walmart does not sell ammo now, Cali has imposed new restrictions, Dems are always trying to have new restrictions enacted - here in CT they have just proposed a 35% ammo tax (probably will die again, but you never know.)
Oh, and Bloomberg just bought Virginia.
My thought is, if you shoot at least with some regularity, and don't expect to drop dead or get indicted within the next year, you should buy ammo whenever you see a good deal. Maybe it's a case. Maybe it's just 100 rds of .22, or maybe it's the one load your 6.66 mm Demonic will shoot into .5 moa, buy ammo. It might even encourage you to shoot more often.
Which is what I do whenever my wife asks me if I really need all that ammo.
My wife asks me the same thing and later this year I will explain to her why we have 50,000 + rounds of ammo on hand!
With more to come!
Just what are they (SKS) selling for now ?
That’s how much I buy in a weekend
I suspect that some of the braindead leftists actually believe a tax will stop "mass" shootings. Others who actually indulge in rational thought realize and appreciate that it's simply a backdoor approach to disarming the public. Don
Let's deal with FACTS.
No one knows who will win any given election. But we DO know that what they claim they will do, will be done, if elected.
Things AREN'T until they ARE.
Democrap's WILL take your guns when they are in power. But it will be incremental. First banning high capacity mags. Banning AR style rifles. Taxing all ammo. Requiring the registration of ALL guns. When all that is in place, they will require the surrender of nearly all weapons.
Politicians FEAR armed citizenry. An armed citizenry IS a deterrent against political tyranny - IN THE COLLECTIVE SENSE. An individual will not be likely to oppose government agents showing up at their door to confiscate their weapons. It's a psychological thing.
Be interesting if .22lr sees an uptick with the attention the G44 brings?
