As someone that buys some items in bulk I purchased many cans of tuna in the past few years. Seems Starkist was under filling 5 oz cans and have agreed to a settlement. It's based on the honor system so if you bought any of the listed tuna, just one can qualifies, during the listed time frame you can receive $25 in cash or $50 worth of tuna vouchers. Here's the link.

I filed for the 50 bux of product. My Wife used to buy a lot of canned tuna. And now she is gone, I can eat it for the protein.

Went for the tuna. We actually currently have the qualifying product on the shelf.

How many (GT'ers} actually know that they purchased the qualifying product before filling out the resolution forms?

Also makes it less likely to freeze, for all of us up here in the N-N-N-North Country.

We also have some on the shelf, so we're going to file for the free tuna; seems to be the "prepper" thing to do.

I went for the voucher. I eat lots of the albacore packed in water. I'm skeptical though because there is this line in the claim form...

"Please select one of the following awards. Be aware that these claim amounts may be subject to pro rata dilution if the total amount of claims exceeds the available settlement funds."

With everybody and their brother playing the Starkist Tuna Lottery the amounts paid are probably going to get seriously diluted.

I could tell the cans didn't have as much as they used to, just another way to screw us.
