All too often we are quick to boycott a company that does something we disagree with. This forum is replete with threads about boycotting companies because of their stance on the Second Amendment. For once, it is time to recognize a company that did something positive for gun rights - Starbucks. You can Google the story of the Brady Campaign's fight to get Starbucks to not allow guns in its stores. But, in a refreshing turn, Starbucks managament told them, in essence, if it's legal, then we see no problem, thank you, now go away. So, many gun bloggers are calling for this Sunday, February 21, 2010, to be Starbucks Appreciation Day. They recommend we purchase something, then be sure to tell the manager of the store that you are there because you appreciate their stance on gun owners' rights, and you wanted to show them support, as they showed it to us. For me on Sunday, a grande mocha, no whip, and a pound of Pike's, whole bean. And rest assured my G19 will be on my hip.
