Would it be advisable to install a stainless guide rod on my new mdl 30?
Only if it uses Linux as it's OS
I'm new to Glocks, what is a Linux and where do I find it.It was mentioned to me for mag loading also?
Hi new person.
This is the computer and stuff section.
OMG, what am I doing here??
Try General Glocking section.
Me, I would leave the gun stock until you have used it a bunch.
Tell me I am not a geek groupie!
No. Not unless you broke your stock one during reassembly and can't get a replacemenet for some reason.
it is a nice way of saying you posted in the wrong forum.
Things in this one generally have electricity as a component.
Linux will usually be found in your computer.
The guys are have fun with you for posting in the wrong forum ...
Here by popular demand, a forum to discuss computers. This the place to track down a problem, discover some new tips and tricks, and learn about new technology and more.
You have to admit though... "I'm new to Glocks,, what is a Linux".. was hysterical, even if he didn't mean it.
ONLY if you have enough RAM.
You are not a geek groupie.
However, you may be a boffin babe.
But I still don't know what an mdl 30 is...
And why would I want to run Linux on it?
I'm starting to switch to PC-BSD. Do I need to change my username?
An understandable mistake. There is nothing about "Tech Talk" that implies that it is electronics exclusive.
Of course there's not.... but it's still fun when someone falls into the Nerd Trap...
I say we petition BGH to change the forum to "Computers and Gadgets Help"... since we often talk about cell phones, GPS's, etc..
Maybe call it Nerd Talk
We're not nerds!
omg I was lmao.
Thanks for the answers,I guess the jokes on me.All kidding aside,I'm no computer genius, there are days I have to think which button turns everything on.
I guess I'll leave her alone until I see how she performs.
You're not the first person this happened to.
I have a number of Glocks(oldest being about 9yrs old) and all of them have the stock recoil spring, and have never been a problem.
Welcome to GT!
