Sunday; AmCiv, Comp, Sub.
Saturday, AmCiv, and Comp.
Saturday...Am Civilan and Competition.;f
Despite some good scores at Indy, I I didn't do well enough to get bumped to Master. So I'll be shooting in Am/Civ, Stock, Comp, and U/M. I figure if I'm driving that far to shoot, I might as well get the most bang for the buck.
I will be shooting Comp and AmCiv on Saturday with a group of three others and possibly 5 more from the shooting league at Bill's range in Robbinsdale. I haven't decided if I will also go on Sunday to shoot my 29.
Hope to make it on Sat. Morning. Prob just with G19 and 26
Not looking good. No time and I may be up in ND over the weekend. Plus I have not fires a gun "other then three shot to take two rabbits" in 3 months.
It will be my first match, so I'm just trying amateur civilian. I hope a few familiar names become a few familiar faces! Saturday will be my big day.
That's it? It's not gonna be very crowded. (BTT)
I might go and hang out there. I'm getting a new Glock 19 soon, but I don't know if I'll be good enough to compete yet. The Oakdale Gun Club is only about 15 minutes from my home.
nels0360...Do not worry about how good you are, the idea is to experience a safe enviroment, meet some new people and enjoy a new sport. I am traveling 500 miles and probably 9-1/2 hours just for that result...I am measuring my progress and adjusting to the results by participating. Come on out you will meet alot of new and old GSSF people, see you there ;f
I'll be shooting Saturday and in sub compact with my G26 and I WAS going to shoot in AM LE, until I just picked up a G35,,,now it looks like I'm going to me shooting in AM competition... Can't wait to see how this G35 shoots in the morning,,,
I may be doing myself a disservice by switching so close to game time, but that is the nice thing about a Glock,,,it still feels the same way and this G35 will have a better trigger pull.
By the responses, it looks as though we'll have a good 12 shooters at the match this weekend! That should increase my odds of winning something,,,haha.
Good enough? Don't worry about it. The Glock personel will be more than happy to answer your questions, and the Range Officers (all volunteers) are very understanding.
If you're not sure of what to do, ask. Glock's goal is for you to have fun (with their product, of course ).
Since they use the "Lewis" scoring system, you might even win a pistol!
Bring rain gear! The current forecast says rain late Saturday and through Sunday!
Of course, since this is Minnesota, you could always wait a minute...it'l change!
I'll be there on Sunday....no wait it might rain...I'll be there on Saturday morning shooting amciv. Are Glocks waterproof?;f
I dunno... Do you have the maritime spring cups on a G17?
OK, y'all are going to meet on X-day, but how are you going to know who's who? Special shirt? Secret handshake?
AFAIK, the Glock-M stage will be on the 50 yard range again this year. For those that haven't been to Oakdale, there is a long shelter for the firing line on the ranges. Plenty of room under this one (even in the rain...if you're friendly!) so why don't you meet there?
If y'all had ordered GlockTalk T-shirts, you would know who's who.;e
Great idea. I wish I could.
