Squib!

435 2
Just got home from the range and had a little trouble with some Fiocchi 115gr FMJ. I bought two 100rnd boxes yesterday and put 199rnds downrange between my G19.5 and G48. There were two FTExtract, one with each I attribute to the ammo. The squib came in the G48. Thank God I was shooting slow strings at the time and noticed the low recoil. On both FTE, I broke down the guns to make sure there were no squibs at that time as the recoil was low then too. I notified my buddy RO and he took another RO to check it out. They couldn't remove it with the tools at hand so had their gunsmith remove it. They both said they had never heard of a squib with Fiocchi before.
Is the Lot number in the bottom right corner of this photo?

Many lot numbers are printed on removeable stickers or printed in ink on the underside of the box flaps.

I'm not sure what that number is in the UPC.

First I have heard of a squib with Fiocchi ammo also. Good thing you caught it.

I had a squib, Tula I think….

lodged in barrel but not far enough to completely seat the next round….

I took the hard top screw for a Wrangler that screws through the roll bar to the hard top and punched it out…
