I have a Delica plain edge with the plastic clip and two Co-Pilots (one with a plain edge and one with a serrated edge).

I have a gun on consignment at a LGS, after it sells, the shop owner is going to order me a Paramilitary 3 Lightweight.

After a few weeks of the PM3LW, I have to say that it has become my primary EDC knife. This is part because of the light weight and the wire pocket clip. Naturally, I am a fan of the ergonomics with the forward finger and thumb ramp. Plus, It fits my hand almost as good as the PM2.

But the biggest reason is the cost. While I won’t abuse it, I don’t worry about a $70 knife like I do a pricier Spyderco. And the CTS BD1N seems to hold a decent edge.

What do the rest of the PM3LW owners think?

Hasn’t left my pocket since I got it , love it. The ergos are awesome, love the deep carry wire clip. Was great idea for them to move the lanyard hole so they could use that clip. The lightweight is nice in the pocket and the CTS BD1N steel has held an edge beautifully. I’ve used it for some drywall and HVAC work and has performed great. Really impressed with the design and function of this blade. I’m a PM2 guy and didn’t have an interest in the PM3 at all , but something caught my interest (price) with this one , and glad I got it. I will be purchasing a few more before it jumps up in price for a spare , and for gifts. Spyderco hit a home run with this one for sure.

Ah yeah, how did I forget about the relocation of the lanyard hole! What an upgrade/improvement over the original - what were they thinking?

Yep, the PM3 lightweight is still in my pocket. I definitely recommend it. No issues with the CTS BD1N steel - it takes a nice edge.

    Now if they’d make a PM2 Lightweight.

Back in the day...when Spyderco first hit the mkt, I owned 2 of their entry level, all steel folders...they were always my best edc...Never should have let them go..

I would definitely love to see a PM2 lightweight with the CTS BDS1N steel. Very impressed with my PM3 lightweight.

Paramilitary 2 - maybe the best all-around Spyderco model.

Delica is my edc. It’s surprising how many times a day I reach for it to open packages, cut cords, slice fruit etc.

One of my favorites to carry - Domino. The "flipper" action is pretty slick.

And, probably my most unusual Spyderco, the Bi-Fold.
