Okay, don't throw me out. Bear with me. I still love my Glocks!

I found that the XD fits my hands SO MUCH better. I love my glock and would love it more if it fit my hands like my XD.

Has anyone done a grip modification to a glock 4 or 5 inch to profile it like the XD grip? Can it really be done?

    TIA,
    marm0t

It ain't pretty, but yeah, it can be done....... there was an article not too long ago about it being done. Rough translation, fill the hole up with something sorta like fiberglass, and then belt sand to suit. Not exactly, but you get the idea....... someone is apt to chime in with more detail.......

Why not just buy an XD? They are good guns and it would probably cost about the same as having a Glock modified.

Remember, the XD (aka HS2000)copied one of the best grip shapes going. The Hi-Power was to be an improvement over Browning's earlier design, the 1911.
If the Hi-Power didn't feel good in the hand, they never would have sold as many as they did ! (and do!)
