Did you get a chance to dry fire it? How was that first DA pull? The SA?I've handled one at my local shop. They are a bit strange looking, but nice pistols.

The Sphinx seems to be an excellent platform, but I would spring that kind of money for the compact. After all, do you care about the extra accuracy for a gun designed to shoot at very short range?
Assume the reasons are aesthetic. Luckily for me, I have lower standards (haven't even seen 95% of the beauties you own), so am good to go.Unfortunately, all the larger pistols have a rail. I don't buy non polymer framed pistols with rails.
I'm still interested. Seems much better than the Remington R51.Not quite as good as my old 2000 series Sphinx pistols, but nice for a production pistol.
They also sell for much less relatively than those hand fitted pistols used to back in the day.
Its definitely a nice pistol, fnfalman.I can dig that subcompact.
If you're looking for a high quality carry gun, it certainly fits the bill.I'm still interested. Seems much better than the Remington R51.
If I bought one it would be a carry gun and it is in the price range I am looking at.

You just pretty much described what I'm looking for. :wavey:If you're looking for a high quality carry gun, it certainly fits the bill.![]()
I never owned a metal framed pistol with a rail. Its just one of those things I don't do.Assume the reasons are aesthetic. Luckily for me, I have lower standards (haven't even seen 95% of the beauties you own), so am good to go.
