By far the best shooting full power snubby I had shot and ccw-ed. Better than the SWM19,SW686,SW J -frame magnums that I had. Its small enough to carry and big enough to handle recoil. Best street record in stopping power the 125 HP Federal-Remington 357 mag. 1290fps at 5 feet over crono.

So, if pressed, it sounds like you'd say you like it.

There is something reassuring about the reliability of a revolver.

I too enjoyed shooting one. The Hornady self-defense round though.... SHEEZ! 1500fps in 125g. In the sp101 it was not at all unpleasant, just a bit of a surprise from the 38 special and Blazer .357 loads also shot. I am very impressed with this snubby. A VERY difficult choice between a .45 and .357 with this little honey.

If you don't love the SP101, you don't love guns.

They are nice. I like the 3" a lot. I pocket carry an LCR often so i've been kicking around the idea of a 2 1/4" SP for use at the range where it would be easier to shoot for extended round counts.

This is true! I have owned 357 in 2 1/4 since '94. Has Hogue grips, also have both the bob tail and regular thumb hammer, love this puppy.
