I have read and read again the state law, but did not see anything about a purse or even a man-purse.

My wife wants to know if she can leave the gun in her purse while driving in the vehicle?

Many times I carry a larger handgun in my computer bag?

As long as you both have ccw's There is no restriction on how the gun is carried on your person. The vehicle is no different in my opinion when a ccw comes in to play. Just be sure to hand over the ccw with your dl.

Make sure to keep your hands on the steering wheel when the officer(s) approach, make sure to say you are armed have a CCW where the weapon is and for God's sake don't reach for the purse let them get it. They will likely open it & remove the pistol. Then ask for your DL & Permit.
