I was just sitting here thinking............................. this guy is gonna demand some respect when he walks into a room of our allies and our enemies. I believe he will be taken more seriously by his counterparts, compared to that jackass Kerry or Hillary ever were. I mean, just look at that face!

I'm sitting up and paying attention when he enters the room!! I don't like some of his politics, but I'm hoping he can start turning things around at State. Anyone else think he'll be better over the last 2 losers?

How could he possibly do worse?

Anyone with a heartbeat and an IQ higher than an icecube could outdo Lurch and Cankles.

So, no reset button this time around?

They should have installed one in the middle of Hillary's forehead.

The last 2 never negotiated "anything". Ever. They just gave the other side what they wanted. Same with Obama, he had no clue on how to negotiate, so sends those 2 clowns out. Then wonders why we get a circus!

It will be hard for him to be a failure. Previous two set the bar pretty low.
As soon as he walked into a room and nobody snickered he was a success by previous standard's.

SIR YOU ARE TOTALY WRONG!!! YOU SHOULD SHOW MORE RESPECT FOR BOTH OF THEM. :fist:

Kerry negotiated a marriage to a rich widow and HRC negotiated some of the largest bribes in history.

I think most world leaders know the level that guy's playing at and pride don't factor in. Putin considers him a 'friend' (as much as you can have a friend in the game), but even if their half a trillion dollar partnership didn't exist I'm pretty sure he would be hesitant to genuinely disrespect him. If he gets snubbed by anyone there's an angle being worked.

That was great lol!! Stupid broad................ no class whatsoever. She and her ilk still think they're like 20-somethings, raising hell on college campuses all across the country. They were the dirty stinking hippies of the '60's who are even now still trying to break America's back.

As I understand, he's been a negotiator and deal maker his entire career. I always thought that was the #1 prerequisite for a Sec of State. I expect a lot of good things from him.

Tillerson didn't have any experience in politics, government, or military service. Some people are stuck on that.
They form strict rules on what constitutes requirements for a position so they end up with the 'same' person filling that role time and time again.
He has an agenda, but he isn't a snake. I think we'll benefit greatly as long as his agenda, and that of his true constituents, is mutually beneficial to the American people as a whole.
Having a 'behind the scenes power player' working on the front lines indicates some really big changes are soon to happen regarding international relations. Right now nothing's off the table. We could become tentative allies with NK tomorrow and it wouldn't shock me.

It's the hair. It screams success.

He was recommended for the position by Condi Rice.

Didn't know that. Now there's a great lady. Would have loved to see her stay in politics, but I can't blame her. It's ugly and the left attacked her horribly.
