Sooner or later the power will be shut off and the notes will be called in.

The largest power companies to the smallest businesses cannot carry debt indefinitely.Nor can they be forced to. Sooner or later the notes will be called. Power will be shut off cars will be repossessed and people will be put out. No more credit cards to float.
People will be hungry and desperate to feed their families. Did I forget to mention score some TP.
We are approaching the apex. Flattening the economic curve will put us into the winter months.
After April at the latest we have to get back to business.
That may not be the answer and I sure don’t want Americans to die, but I just don’t see another option

I thought you meant like the power grid would go down. That would be a huge step in a bad direction.

i agree with your post though.

I don't feel that way. I'm pretty happy. We'll get through this, we're Americans.

I think it will be much later. the last thing to government wants is the power off during this, that when you loose control of everyone. thus far things have been civil that will end when the lights go off. the power companies will either find a way or the federal/ states will for them to keep the power on. I agree at some point cars will start getting taken by the banks but i suspect they will hold out as long as they can if for no other reason they will be asking for more money at some point and will want all the good PR they can have.

I agree at some point business has to go on, but i think all industries know that for the forceable future they need to tread lightly.

I'm not going to throw in the towel. We've got a hurdle yet, but nothing that can't be jumped over.

Have faith in the Lord and things will work out.

    Okay I'm done.

Banks can't take cars they don't own. I'm not their slave.

You are and I am too. But there’s a whole lot of Americans who aren’t as prepared as some of us. Some of those people will turn to what ever means necessary to survive.

Why do some people actually want the world to end?

Do people get some sort of a sense of accomplishment in predicting our downfall? Does it make one feel superior, or in control of their own destiny maybe?

at this point they don’t want the cars back they do own... largest auction network in the country sold at a little better than 80% of their average last couple weeks...

a 10% swing is HUGE... like the first couple sales in tax season might hit 110% to avg. dealers are smoking cigars and hugging each other on those weeks.

until it picks up they might be better off hoping for a partial payment or that a debtor wins the lottery.

it's just another form of attention whoring on board; the financial market thread has plenty of wall of text blow hards in particular...
