Just flipping through the channels and came across red jacket making what appeared to be a .410 zip gun for killing alligator? I guess the hunter never thought of getting a .357 mag or .44 mag revolver? Heck, get a .410 judge for a third of the price! I can't believe some of the crap they come up with and call it a 'game changer'.

I've stopped watching the show but some highlights I recall include
-gas piston AR 'superior' to any other gas piston upper out there
-a contract with some self proclaimed special ops operator who I believe is some mall ninja from the Internet
-a custom 1911 that has mil specs, but has the 'custom' red jacket grips being sold for the price of a nice Les Baer

Did I miss out anything else spectacular?

I'm pretty sure they were "mentally handicapped" from the start.

That being said, it's mindless (and over-dramatic) entertainment that's scripted to the T.

The drop in kit they later ended up using is A $300 Adams arms drop in conversion,

I got a laugh out of their custom loaded 7.7 jap for a type 99 rifle , which if you need some ammo for can be bought online for 24.99 , Hornady makes it

It is! Reminds me of TV soap operas like, 'Days of Our Lives' or, 'As the World Turns' - Only with guns! (And I could give a damn less about Princess Summerfall Winterspring's sex-life with some numbnutz gun tinker.) :freak:

Captain Red Jerkit & his merry band of bayoubillies is an insult to all gun owners. It was always meant to be too. *click*

I know most if us have a pretty negative opinion of red jacket but I wonder how successful they have been, it's been on for three seasons and they went from a small scale shop building saiga conversion to having their AR sold at academy

By that measure, "The View" is a successful "news" show.

    Good work Kenny. You delivered.

Only reason I opened thread, was to see who else thought of the "^retarded photo".
