My 13 year old son shot his first deer this past Friday.

Little VA Doe, but it sure is good eating!

Deer was about 25 yards from him when he shot it with a .30-30, 150 gr Remington Core-lokt, nice double lung shot.

I shot a nice big doe on Saturday. About 50 yards with the .44 Mag TC Contender. Hit her a little far back, but she only went 50 yards.

Got 3 deer in the freezer now. Will probably donate the next ones to Hunters 4 Hungy.

Congrats to you and your son!

Hunters for hungry??? That almost sounds charitable. But I thought all us hunters were a bunch of savage murderers that get a sick pleasure from killing? Hmmmm maybe the liberal propaganda is wrong.
