Not a pool but a members only lake. It was a few miles from my home. the song I remember being in constant rotation was Wooly Bully by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs.
I remember riding with no seatbelt up the hill heading north on Washington Blvd just north of 12th Street in Ogden, Utah, in the back seat of the family's '74 Opel 1900 Sportwagen with my brother at the wheel, singing along to this tune in circa 1983.
Close family friends have a cottage on a 600 acre lake in NW Indiana. The little general store had two pinball machines and a jukebox. As kids we dropped many dimes and quarters into those machines, and we did our darndest to wear out this 45:
I have seen bass boats on the C-54 when I go over the bridge on I-95. Daddy wants to fish it next time he comes to visit.
It's popular with canoe and kayakers as well.
