SOMEONE SEND HELP !!! variation markings

    Ok here is a question: what is with the letters after a model # ??? is there a thread somewhere where I can study up on some of these ????

    (EXAMPLE): some of them are common sense G17L, 34L etc..etc... would mean Long : barrel/slide MOVING ON.....

    some of these variations I have not figured out some are old some are new and some are still popping up SOMEONE SEND HELP... I know im gonna ge GOOFY STAMPED for this but hey if ya don`t ask when your a NEWBIE to GLOCKS I`ll never learn right:upeyes:

    What in particular can't you figure out. 'C' is compensated. 'L' is for long-slide.

    All the others some even have 3 LETTER`S....

    G22RTF is Rough Textured Frame.

    RTF is the 'normal' GEN3 frame. Then you have the RTF2, with small polymids.... and then the GEN4, which is the RTF3 (larger polymids). :tongueout:

    None of my 'normal' GEN3'S are RTF, but my new G23RTF with small polymids is, because it's printed on the red lable on the case.
