Of all the frame sizes offered by S&W, I think Ks are just about perfect for the cartridges chambered for them.

Ran into this one on Gunbroker, thru out a lowball bid...and I won. :)

Anyone else have some K Frame Hand Ejectors to share?

Nope. I have a thing for the early post war K frames.

But that’s a great score. I have won a few auctions with lowball offers. One of them I ALMOST felt bad for the seller.

    $350. Only bidder.

    Amazingly so Berto.

It's been awhile since I had a 6" K Frame. Forgot just how balanced they feel in the hand.

    Life is good. :)

That is one I’d have to shoot...
I love my pre-Model 10, but I sure long for that six inch barrel. 8F3D3579-63F1-4B61-8C3C-920E84E44ABB.jpeg

    Nice M&P Target.

I've wanted one of those for a looong time. Haven't found one yet. Almost snagged one about 2 months ago, was VG+ condition but...bidding got too rich for my wallet and I didn't win auction.

I think they're very cool. Thanks for sharing yours.

    They are awesome classics.

I have one just like it some the same time period, as well as a late teens 1905 Target.

Nice Guns: Some years back I did buy a 38 Hand ejector in a pawn shot for $100.00. Half the gun was pristine. The rear half showed no use. The front half had been in a damp holster since who knows when. The front was badly rusted.

Taking the side plate off on these old guns is a wonderment. The workmanship on the old Smith's is superb. No telling how many of these old guns have been destroyed in the bumper plating shop by Bubba. It's good to see the nice ones preserved.

Yes (N, J, I, and X frames too) but...S&W quit using the term after Model numbers were introduced around 1957 or so.

The S&W catalog term for mine above would technically be a " .38 Military and Police Revolver, Square Butt".

Or so I was somewhat haughtily told over on the S&W Forum. :)

Doesn't have the same zing to it imo.

Nitpicking: I get a double message looking at the "Catalog". I'd not worry about it. Most ordinary people know this guns as 38 HE.
