What is your recommendation for solvent and Lube? Odor counts.

I llike Butche's Bore shine for the barrel, CLP for the outside of the gun and Gun Butter as a lube. I use Hoppes #9 lubricating oil inside the barrel after cleaning. Every nowand then, I will spray my polymer pistols with non-chlorinated brake cleaner or immerse them in Simple Green and blow it off with compressed air before doing all of the above. I ghave never had any negative issues in the many years I have done this. I've only done it to my H&K's, Glock and Kahr.

CLP for cleaning internal and external. Slide Glide or similar grease for slide lubrication. Various gun oils for other internal components. Silicone cloth for wiping down after cleaning.

IMO only use grease to lubricate slide rails.
