Been in Navy/Marine helo training for a little over a month and after eleven flights I went for a "solo" flight in a TH-57B aka Bell 206. I flew while another student took care of the copilot functions. I'm so glad I went helocopters instead of fixed wing, they're a blast to fly. I have about another five months until I get my Naval Aviator Wings. I'll take some pictures of the helos on the pad and during flight for you guys.

Outstanding, Marine! The Bell 206 (OH-58) was my A/C in the Army. I actually was carrier-qualified (in the Army??).

They are a blast to fly but they don't curry favor with Delta and United like fast-movers do. Just for giggles, try flying it backwards through ETL sometime. ;)

The Bell 206 is a fine machine.
I've got most of my time in the 206 series. I never tired of flying it.

Flying it for 29 years over water it never let me get my feet wet.:)
