Sold my G27 today. Never liked it and now at least it went to a good home.
Once I got the G36, I stopped shooting my G27 completely.Folks have to suit themselves.
My G27 was never my first choice when it came to owning a Glock. That was the G26.
I picked up my LNIB G27 for an incredibly low price, with night sights. If I remember right, I was carrying an issued .40 at the time, although of another make/model, so I didn't see the diminutive .40 as being too far afield of what I was commonly using.
I still prefer the G26, though. As a matter of fact, I just picked up a G26 OD to complement my original G26 from 10 years ago.
I can understand that.Once I got the G36, I stopped shooting my G27 completely.
Absolutely.I have an issued G27, and I own a G26. Every time we qualify, I shoot both so I'm within policy regardless of what I carry. When I shoot them both side by side I always think to myself, "I'm glad I bought the G26."
I shoot the G26 MUCH better than the G27, I don't shy away from the .40 S&W round, but in the subcompact platform I prefer the 9mm.
I sure understand that... 45 is so much fun to shoot.Once I got the G36, I stopped shooting my G27 completely.
I'm just the opposite. I much prefer shooting my 27 over my 30sf. I also own a S&W M&P40C, which just sits in the safe. Like the previous poster stated, it basically a Ford/Chevy thing. Luckily we live in the USA and still have choices! For now anyway!I sure understand that... 45 is so much fun to shoot.
Get yourself a 26. You will probably never want to part with it.
