I have the same holster super comfortable and you can get a hold of the grip. One of the best appendix holsters out there.

At a glance it's fugly, but if you read a bit about this holster you will see that it is brilliantly designed to not only tuck the grip against your waist, but also to tuck the grip into your belly so that it doesn't flop out like appendix holsters tend to.
Specifically, this model has .093 kydex, the extra tuck feature (swell near muzzle), full sweat guard and solid loop. Ships with these features for $95 but the wait is 2+ months but you can have it in a few days for $80 shipped!
