I've been meaning to try the okra; but I keep forgetting to put it on my grocery list.

The Nutty Buddies....not so much. :notlistening:

Well the name came from "Lil Abner" image.jpeg and I was referring to the funny, musical movie made in 1959. In the movie it was kinda like a strong "Moonshine" but it was also marketed and sold as a soft drink. image.jpeg image.jpeg

Today we had to eat and run to the vet. Leftover Ham steaks, french cut green beans and mashed potatoes. The cat will be fine. Just a number of days taking steroids. tom.

Well I just got back from the local store. I went to pick up more eggs, and bacon but bought a few more items. I bought some of the old waffle cones and even tho I have a little ice cream left I bought some Dreyers French Vanilla to go inside those cones. Hash Browns still on sale so I bought more of those.

Here's a question: I bought a whole mini, seedless watermelon and it's just me eating it so it will be a few days to consume, should I refridgerate it or not? Far as supper, ditto from last night. Later.

I would refrigerate the watermelon. Most folks I know like their watermelon cold.

Edited to add: It should keep better in the fridge also.

So I'm tardy on posting, but recalled to take picks of what I cooked / prepared this week.
Monday, ribs redeux, smoked by a friend, with beans and corn.
Tuesday, spaghetti and meat balls. The last batch of meatballs Karen made, before passing.
Wednesday frozen chicken & garlic pizza with Buffalo sauce added. No pic.
Thursday, grilled chicken breast, with air fryer, cross cut fries and corn.

They have mild and hot. The hot has a nice little kick, but they're not even as hot as jalapenos.

You mean these? I have loved those since I was a little girl. Daddy always brought some of those along when he took me fishing.

Tossed the other slice of Casey's pizza in the small oven, had a few chips and a Kroger Orange Vanilla cup of yogurt.
