Fresh pompano again. And this time I helped catch them too.

Right now I'm waiting for my neighbor to finish cleaning them so I can broil the filets in olive oil, garlic, white wine, and capers.

Will be hitting the grill with a pork loin and pineapple in about an hour. Tacos al Pastor tonight. We top with shredded cabbage, white cheddar/jack blend, a onion/cilantro/lime relish. Sometimes I'll add a squirt of Whataburger Jalapeno Ranch.

Everybody is full and I'm the only one left awake.

BF is snoring in one recliner, Luisa is asleep in the other, and Paloma is dozing on the love seat. The pompano was delish. I had three filets and I am stuffed. Three glasses of wine too, so I am slightly drunk LOL. Fish always tastes better when you caught it yourself.

Kind of a hodgepodge. Some sausage quiche, grilled chicken, a couple venison steaks and leftover cheap frozen pizza. Plus salad. Probably be the same tomorrow, maybe Monday. Well once my son finds the venison steaks, they probably won't make it past lunch tomorrow.

Did some unexpected last minute cooking. Panko and walnut crusted chicken with asparagus, and roasted potatoes.

    I always use pinot grigio.

I don't think I even have any vermouth.

Tonight is leftover night. I'm eyeing my next meal for a few days from now. Chicken with Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Feta, and Spinach in Phyllo Cups.

I like the Yellow Tail wines from Australia. They are very good and not expensive.
