Tomorrow brunch is Tacos de Lingua. The wife is making Horchata and maybe Flan for dessert.

BF's surfing buddy asked me to make jambalaya for when they come inside from surfing to watch the football games, so I did. (I suspect BF put him up to it, because he knows I would have a harder time saying 'no' LOL). So it's on the stove.

BF is going to grill steaks also.

A toss up between another salad and a slice or a bowl of noodle and beef. Not beef and noodles because I got way to many noodles in it!:eat:

I don't think I have ever had Muenster cheese. I might have to try that.

Tonight's supper, in about 15 minutes.

A Jimmy Dean Meat Lovers Breakfast Bowl.

I'm thinking I'm going to be hungry again in a couple hours.

I guess I will go with a salad and a slice. The pizza is getting a little long in the tooth. Dessert will be the last of the pudding pie that I made.

They are all different, everybody has their own. This one is pretty close to Mommy's recipe. Sometimes I add scallops along with the shrimp. Or you can just use chicken. If you don't have andouille you can use Italian sausage (I like the spicy Italian sausage). Also I always use olive oil, this recipe just says "cooking oil".

The most important thing is to stir it while it is cooking.

Wife did a 17lb turkey today - mashed REAL potatoes - or she found a source for Instant Potato Lumps to add to the regular Hungary Man Instant type. She IS tricky.

Cranberry sauce and Marmalade, Liebfraumilch, Lima Beans - Fordhooks, Italian bread with melted butter and parsley, Chocolate REAL-COOKED pudding for dessert.

    Gonna sl -e - e - p n o w

Made a big bowl of tuna salad (chopped scallions, onions, tomato and red pepper) on a few onion rolls for the daughters and I for lunch. Didn’t feel like making dinner so I ordered them a chicken and broccoli pizza and a roast beef club for me.

Today I marinated a London Broil and tried my hand at lactos-fermenting veggies.

Also stewed a wonderful mushroom/onion soup.

The London Broil came out awesome.

I packaged a steak salad for lunch while grazing on the meat and mushrooms.

We will see in a few weeks how the veggies turn out.
