It was the first time I had made or tried L/O. I took a few bites. Very tender. It was a valiant effort, but I just could not get it down. Something about the texture and aftertaste. The onions and gravy were good, though!
BF and his buddy (the PJ) did a good job on the leftovers last night. After surfing they are like human garbage disposals LOL.
Answer as to WHY you could not choke this down...
The liver's main job is to filter the blood coming from the digestive tract, before passing it to the rest of the body. The liver also detoxifies chemicals and metabolizes drugs. As it does so, the liver secretes bile that ends up back in the intestines.
