Well let's see, what does a 69 year old and a three day "Labor Day" weekend equal? Why 2 Fliet Mignons and a 1 New York Strip Steak of course. It's just after 4pm(West Coast), 87 degrees with maybe 50% Humidity and virtually no wind. Just perfect for "Ole Smokey"(Little Weber) and me...mmmmm. I had to miss a little football this morning because I got my lazy butt to go to the local store that has a great butcher section, so I bought the aforementioned steaks and a nice, large, store bought,Cherry Pie(Fresh, not frozen). I am ready for Labor Day Weekend. CHOW(Sayonara).
Leftovers. White rice and some slow cooker pork butt. drizzled w/ some "Pain is good" Chipotle Hot sauce. interesting sauce, I like it. Chipotle is a very distinct flavor though.
The same pork butt has, and is, providing me with lunches for this whole weekend at work, over some quick sauteed kale. may sound weird, but works. I can make a lotta weird combos work. less complicated the recipe in my eyes, the better. exception - Indian food.
