I'm rocking a $49 Microsoft Lumia 640, that does 90% of what an $800 Apple or Samsung will do. My personal top end on a new phone is maybe $250. Beyond that, I feel like a total sucker. So, no thanks. But I live vicariously through you big spenders, and its fun to dream.

I have the same phone for the last 4 yrs. Samsung. NO Apple for me only to eat. My wife has one and as soon as Walmart gets in stock an HTC that I will replace her phone. She hates the apple and has constant problems.

I paid off my 6s this month and my payment dropped $31. :)

I think I'll keep it. It works just fine thankyouverymuch.

X for me. Screen size vs. case size.

I can't imagine dropping over $1k on a phone whose main distinguishing feature may we'll be goofy emoji crap?? I have a 3 year old 6 that my son has been eyeing as a replacement for his 5 so I may upgrade to something. SERIOUSLY unlikely that it will be the X. Might could possibly be an 8+, but the discounted pricing on 7+ and the potential for factory refurbished 7+ being available means the 8+ better have lots more to offer. Haven't had a chance to compare the tech specs and see if the leap to 8 will be worth the squeeze.

Not sure if I'll upgrade or not. My iPhone 6 is still working fine, but there are times is stutters now. Streaming mp3s and using navigation on carplay seem to tax it a bit.

Which one is an absolute necessity as a productivity tool for my business that I don't know what it will be yet?

I'm still on a 6 too and don't care to upgrade.
Maybe the Apple Watch 3 to replace my Fitbit that I've enjoyed getting texts on without having to break out my phone.

For him, maybe it does. Most people don't use their phones to it's full potential.

I just don't see anything mind blowing. Every year the phone just gets fractionally better. Don't care about the face recognition. Probably takes longer than thumbprint.

The rumor I heard included wireless charging to an extent of only having to be in the same room as the charging device. That would have sold me. A better camera and resolution does not.

I will be getting the X.
I got a 7 last year and now the X. I usually get them right when they come out.
I like Apple, like gadgets, and don't see it as a waste of money. I waste way more money on less.
Personally I'm very excited and can't wait. It's nice just to get excited about dumb stuff at my age. Makes me feel like a kid again in a small way.

My 7 has been a great phone, I'm sure the X will also be fun.

X does not interest me. Skipped last 2 upgrades so I am ready.

Have the 6 also, now for 3 years. And mine stutters as well. I will upgrade now, as I skipped the 7.
Probably will go with the X, once I convince myself that the facial recog is quick and works every time- just like the thumbprint on my 6.

Except for cellular in the watch, I thought all the "upgrades" were pretty minor. Kinda disappointed. I was hoping the iPhone X would be much more than what it is. Just a slicked up iPhone. Nothing special.
