I agree with those that say to make sure you have something else lined up before you decide to quit. Do it the right way, give notice, and let them know why you are leaving in a calm, professional manner. Don't do the "F**K it I'm outta here." Not knowing what you do, your absence may leave the company, and those you work with(and probably like) in a pinch. You never know what comes around a few years down the road when they're hiring for a job that you're interested in doing, and former co-workers make good references. What I'm saying is "stay classy."

Never understood why a worker feels required to give that 'two weeks notice' bs...if the company was 'leaving you', they won't do the same. Only exception is if they want you to train your replacement for them. Hell no.

Working to make a living is a ***** and I'm sure there are many workers with these kind of problems. In my work life I was fire two times and both of those times, it should not have happened and it was because it came to the point of major frustration but I did it at the time and I do not regret it at all. I was able to go on with life and even change careers with success. I was fortunate but I do not recommend doing this because there is always a better way to solve a problem and no mater what you do, just think about it and do what will not harm you in the future!
