Football, baseball, tidley winks, marbles, huntin and fishin.
Basketball, ran Cross Country Track and Soccer. Cross Country Track kept me in shape for the other 2.
I played guitar in the band that played at the dance at the teen center after the football game.
Football as a freshman and sophomore. During summer practice before my junior year, I quit to get a job. I needed money more than I wanted to play ball. Went right into 40 hours a week at the local amusement park, plus weekends during the school year.
I was an OK athlete but could never get along with coaches - yelling at me to do something or because I didn't do something. Just ask me nice - I will do whatever you want - but ordering me around in an abusive way is not allowed.
I told a two of them, a football and a basketball coach to F off / or maybe it was go F yourself I can't recall - that didn't end well for me - as back then coaches were allowed to push, kick and hit their players.
The worst part was - the football coach was also the PE coach - so after getting booted off his team - I had to face him in PE - where I usually ended up running laps or being tossed into a wall.
Being skinny Soccer and Cross Country were my wheelhouse.
I played football from 7th to Sophmore year in HS. I was first string JV and Sophmore and played two games a week for both. I quit my Junior year because they relaxed the dress code and guys could grow their hair long, which I planned to do. I found out the Head Coach wasn't going to let the Athletes do that, so I said Adios!
Funny but I never cared to watch sports but I like playing sports. Football appealed because I could KNOCK THE SH!T out of people legally. LOL!
You just restored my faith in american males.

Couldn't jump high enough, far enough, couldn't pass or run fast enough to be an end. Wasn't big enough to play the line, couldn't field shoot in Basket ball, couldn't pitch or hit in base ball. Wasn't good enough at anything in Track.
I was a pretty good trumpet player so I was in marching band. In the summer I was in the local legions drum and bugle corps. Was just to long and gangly to
wrestle well. Took some boxing them moved on to Karate and Martial arts which I carried on to college. I was a good Archer and rifle man. Helped me out in the Army
Police explorer and jrotc. Other than that I worked cause I thought money was cooler than throwing a ball.
Golf. Quit in my junior year to work. I loved hot rods more, and had to buy parts and gas.
Baseball = catcher
Tonsil hockey, soccer, hunting, track, hooky, old test collection club, smear the q...buddy, skateboarding and beer tasters club. Had played baseball for 6 or 7 years leading into HS and probably should have played that but I was burned out.
Football. Left guard and occasionally left tackle or center linebacker.
No sports for me in high school or college. And to this day, no interest in baseball, football, basketball or ice hockey.
Shooting and drag racing are the only things that interests me. And maybe some formula 1.
She had more than just a decent batting stance...
She also had great posture as well.
I weight trained. 5 days a week as an elective and one day a week at home.
