Again, Grape Nuts, short of milk, black coffee. This time AK Espresso.

When not being cheap and drinking DD, it’s BRCC these days.

made a few eggs and threw some leftover smoked pork loin in with them and scrambled it up. topped w/ avocado and salsa. I am starting to not like eggs. I can never finish a whole plate anymore.

tea and seltzer to accompany. I am having a piece of dk chocolate now. waiting on the inevitable bathroom call then time to get saddled up for work tonight.

Nothing fancy this AM, some uncured ham on an English muffin and a cup of coffee.

Today I had my usual V8, pills and green tea. I also had honey dew melon, cantaloupe and a huge strawberry from the edible bouquet we received for Grand-parents Day. Went to the store and bought a dozen danishes. I ate one of those about an hour ago.tom.

Sausage patties, eggs, and one Eggo frozen waffle. The waffle is kind of a cheat on my carb counting diet; but I still came in below my limit for the day with the supper I had.

Google will show you a bunch of recipes.

    Simplest explanation:

Combination of cheese and egg that makes a waffle like item that tastes amazingly like... a waffle.

    Good stuff and low carb.

Black coffee just like every other morning.

I am doing the intermittent fasting thing. Only eat 2 hours per day.

    What's with the breakfast propaganda?

Breakfast is only the most important meal of the day if it is your only meal of the day.

Every bit of dietary advice I have ever gotten prior to this was completely counterproductive.

Breakfast. Food pyramid. Avoid fat. Avoid sugar (while loading up on carbs). Eat little meals all day long. Eat Keto.

All that advice led me to was metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.

4 months of intermittent fasting and I have lost 40 lb. My knees don't hurt and I have more energy.

I got the info from TBO  and tried it in my waffle maker. It came out in pieces so I just toss the mixings into a pan and cook it like an omelet.
