Last year it was a mop and broom she didn’t like them very much and I wound up using them. So this year I’m going to give her a 1903A1 Springfield if she don’t like that I suppose I’ll wind up using it :)

Just buy a gift bag at the dollar store and throw all of it in that.

We don't normally exchange gifts on that day, find it more thoughtful randomly as a genuine vs obligated gift. But I did get her the full set 4k uhd harry potter series which is going to make her really happy.

I'm thinking a Vacuume cleaner, ironing board, or maybe a new dryer. I guess I should get both washer, and dryer?

For the past couple of years, I totally abstained from the Christmas craziness and this year, added birthdays to that list.

In September, I cautioned friend Bonnie that I was through doing birthdays or Christmas. She understood, and respected my wishes.

This year, my wife asked for the most accurate GPS available on the civilian market. I was really impressed with that request until she said she also wanted it to do soil depth, alkalinity and frost-line. HH

I'm contemplating spending $30,000 or more on her this season for something I believe she's been deservant of and that she has been working at almost relentlessly over the last year. I suppose after 40 years of marriage, it's never too late to give the little woman just what she deserves.

I guess I’m also getting her a new steam iron. She loves making quilts and her iron just fried itself. So she ordered some top line Rowenta iron. I was told to have the box wrapped and under the tree.

Rather than give each other something we really don't want,
we have opted out of gift giving from the start. We buy what
we want for ourselves. It's worked for over forty years. :D
