So, the other night I was craving.......

    Well, a little background. When I make my salmon cakes, I pre-melt the vegetable lard, and then let it congeal back in a flat layer. So, I had done that that morning before I left home. I get home, get my bucket of mixed up salmon cake goo out of the fridge and put it in the pan.

    I turn the stove on medium heat and go sit down for a bit. {I let each side cook on medium heat for ten to fifteen minutes.}

    I come back, to flip the salmon cake. It's not very done looking. Falls apart and stuff when I scoop it up with the spatula. Flip over the piece that broke off and............................












































    I had put the frying pan on the front burner and turned on the back burner!!!!!

    Extra wait to eat my salmon cake!!!!!


    BUMMERS!!!!!!

    Salmon cake goo... sounds, wonderful. :whistling:

    Ask my family about "garbage eggs", they love'em!

    I realized what I did when I got the broken off chunk flipped, and the vegetable lard was still congealed in a layer on the bottom.....
