I use my cash rewards credit card for everything. Rent, groceries, utilities, gas, plus everything I want. I rarely pay for anything using anything but it the exception being buying something from a private seller who doesn't take paypal. No big deal I pay it off at the end of every month. I get about $50 a month in rewards doing this.

I have been just letting it build up thinking I would get another pistol using it. Of course it will go on the card so I get rewards for it too lol. Then cash out my reward and pay the charge for the pistol lol. Anyway, I am up to about $600 and thinking about a PPQ. I have heard nothing but good about the trigger in it and looked at one at the fun store the other day and I agree it has a nice trigger.

So, I was wondering who here has one and what do you think of it. It will only be a range toy.

I had a Q5 Match and the 4" PPQ and thought the triggers were pretty good but I ended up installing Apex triggers in them.
They had higher bore axis' compared to my Glock's and M&P's so there was a little more muzzle flip when shooting.
The thing that bothered me the most was the slides would rattle when I shook them. Frame to slide fitment was loose. However, that didn't affect accuracy.
A buddy of mine one day said my 4" PPQ looked like a more refined Hi Point and I couldn't get it out of my mind and eventually got rid of both.
IMHO M&P 2.0's equipped with Apex triggers are better in just about every way.
Since it's going to be a range toy I'd recommend an all metal CZ. They're too heavy/big for concealed carry but pretty much melt in your hand and very soft shooting. Just be warned you'll probably end up buying more than one.:devildance:

A friend has a PPQ-M2 (Police Pistol Quick) due to the short reset
Loves it. One of the best OEM striker triggers.
I have little brother PPS-M2 and it is outstanding (Glock with Walther ergonomics)

I do the same thing with my rewards credit card. Bought my G43 this way. Now I’m looking for my next free pistol. Would love a Walher or a M and P, or another Glock!

    I have a 5” PPQ M2, and think it’s pretty swell.

Yeah I actually have a couple different cards I use to maximize rewards. Then I just pay them off like you.

$1,200 - $1,400 a year in free money is nothing to sneeze at.

FYI - the industry has a term for people like us. “Deadbeats”. Lol

Hey, I really feel guilty. LoL! Look at all the suckers who pay 1000's a year on credit card interest.
Besides, the credit card companies are changing businesses 3 to 5% on all purchases. So who is really screwing who. My FICO Scores are in the mid 800's, but because I don't carry credit card balances my credit score is penalized.

Love it, Hopefully the banks that are buying our firearms are the same anti 2nd Amendment that stop financing firearms purchases.
Let's see, Which Glock do I want next? Hmmmm!

I would love to understand how they figure that but no one can get it to make sense to me. The closest someone got to making sense was telling me that because I COULD run out and charge up a bunch of stuff.....ok well, the bank president's wife (yes I know the president of my bank and he is a dude and has been his whole life) could start hooking so maybe he should penalize her with a divorce? Isn't that the same line of thinking, or I am wrong about that too?

I nearly bought one but after renting one, I thought it was snappier than a 9mm should be.

If you want something for the range, I second the recommendation for a CZ. Sp01 if you want a full size, p01 for mid size. Some come with threaded barrels if you own or plan to own a suppressor.

Cajun gun works is the top place to do trigger work on them should you want to do that at some point.

25 years ago I carried about 10K on my Credit cards, One year I figured out the interest and said that's enough. Since then I pay it off every month. I use the points to up grade to 1st class, get free nights at hotels, discounts on flights, hotels ect. One year got my wife a Ipad, camera lens. Worked out well.
