Was drug out to IKEA earlier this month by the wife. While waiting in the check-out, I looked over at the clearance area and noticed a stack of countertops the guys were setting out. Solid wood, roughly 96"-25"-1.5". $15.00 each..... bought the whole stack:dancing:. Now, to build that reloading bench from hell.

I'm so envious - from a Woodworking standpoint. I have a 3" bench I built but it was incredibly laborious. The idea of laminating 2 of those at $30 is causing my head to wobble.

Sweet! Great find. Did the wife get anything? Or were you like, " we are outta here."

I was only going to get 3 or 4. Was her idea to get the whole load(13 of them). I foresee a new living room coffee table in my future...
