What mag would you use? Thought a G17/26 mag would be too small for the larger framed Glock models. Could someone enlighten me? Thanks.

Pretty sure you'd use the the appropriate mag for the ammo you're using. I.e. G23 with 40-9 conversion, I use G19 mags. I'm pretty sure you can't load 9mm into a G20 mag,..... well maybe, but.....

Not hand on experience, so I defer to anyone that has....

The G20/29 mags are your only option. The feed lips may, or may not need to be altered a little.

I'm also wondering if 9mm ammo will be able to function that heavy G20 slide or not too. Hopefully someone who's tried it will chime in.....

I believe you are confusing the 9x25mm conversion barrel for a 9mm luger.

    I own a glock 20.

I have a 9x19 conversion barrel for it.

It functions well by using the regular stock g20 magazines.

I use a reduced power spring and a fairly stout load to ensure reliable cycling.

You will notice that when the slide gets locked back on the "last round" there will still be 1 round in the magazine.

I hope this information helps you.

    Ditto.

I have never been able to find one. I'd like one for the 29 also.

thanks GOKYO: emailed lonewolf and received email confirmation that they do have or still make them.

I was looking to buy a glock 19 to add to the stable. Reasons 1. more fun and cheaper rounds 2. DRTV's Michael Bane made a good point on one of his radio blogs; stating that if ever things got bad the 9mm was the most common round to find.

this conversion barrel is much cheaper than a new weapon and it just reinforces why the glock 20 or 29 is such a great gun to have.

Now i just need to save a few pennies and pick one up.

I just recently ordered a LWD .40 conversion barrel for my G29, I would love to have a 9mm one also. I guess I need to email them also.

Just emailed them waiting on a reply

Guys i am stoked by this idea, it will give me 4 calibers from one frame, 10,40,9 and my AA22lr from the same frame. I know i could also have the 357 sig and 9x25 but i think this range would cover just about all my needs. Know if there was a way to get the 7.62 x25 tok. conversion worked out i would be in cheap shooting heaven.

I don't know if that guy is around here anymore, but I am pretty sure it was a efk firedragon conversion barrel.

Call them or e-mail them and I am pretty sure you can find what you are looking for.

When I joined Glock talk quite some time ago, these conversion barrels were listed on their site.

If I would have had the money at that time, I would have considered purchasing one.

I didn't and I still don't now. Eventually I will though and I will have every conversion possible for this one pistol - and I mean ALL of them - not just what is offered from commercial folks.
