Do not ruin the Creature for me. I'll probably laugh the next time I watch it now. That was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I'd look for bulges for tanks and try and figure out if the stuntman was free diving or not. Cool special effects.

I'm still hooked on '50's monster movies that I grew up with. We could watch a double feature at several movie houses for 50 cents. Another quarter would get me a Holloway caramel bar and some black licorice. Those are some memories, especially if you throw in the 3-D monster flicks.

I spent a lot of Saturday nights growing up watching movies featured on shows like Creature Features and Azmodius. Old Bay Area natives might recognize the names of those shows.

In Creature from the Black Lagoon, Julia(Julie) Adams wearing the one piece white swimsuit was the highpoint of the movie. Seductive swimming scene. The Creature had great taste. :D

I loved monster movies. There is one in particular, maybe shot in the early 60s in Puerto Rico, that showed many places I used to frequent as a kid. I wish I could find it.

Great movie! Also really liked "The Thing from another World". And even though it may seem hoakey today, I was ten when I saw Nosferatu for the first time, scared the hell out of me. Now that was a Vampire, not that glitter in daylight stuff (no offense to Twilight Saga fans).

But the creature isn't third in the line of succession to the presidency.

For all his faults, I like the creature better. Plus, he had good taste in women.

Have you watched the sequel, made in 2017, that nobody told you was a sequel to Creature from the Black Lagoon and you have to figure that out yourself? It was a good movie and the special effects were much better in 2017.

All snark aside...and believe me, I am NOT a NP fanboy...but, if you look at photos of her when she was a younger woman, she was very attractive...especially when she was Ms Oilcan back in the 50's...just sayin

I haven't seen her in that era but even if so, she has destroyed any possibility of beauty. The creature and Pelosi are one in the same. I have more respect for the Creature.............

There is an old game show, I think it was the Newlyweds, where they took the spouse off stage and asked them questions. When they came back they had to match the spouses answer. There was a black couple and they asked him what reminded him of his MIL, he said the creature from the Black Lagoon. It was a classic.
