Forgot I bought a Colt 1911(made in 1918, I think) early in the year, think in mid January. Broke my hand the night I brought it home.
I think it's cursed. I should be exorcised from it.

Mountain Gun. No lock, but internal firing pin. Thinking I ought to get one with the firing pin in the right place.

Nah, just be glad there's no lock.
I bought a new 625 "Model of 1989" 9 yrs ago - also no lock with the internal FP. It's the most accurate revolver I own with 45AR handloads.
