Had a few hours to kill late Friday afternoon so I headed down the hill to the desert. This guy came in very quick to a prarie dog distress on the Foxpro, I didnt even get a chance to start blowing hand calls and he was there. I had to shift myself and shooting sticks and when I did he busted me and started walking away. I lip squeeked and he stopped left broad side at about 75 yards. 95grn 243 Win anchored him hard.

Not much maybe 20-25 pounds. The desert coyotes are thin. The ones we have around population and in the local national forest get nice and big from eating cats/dogs/goats and deer fawn.
