Narrator absolutely right on all accounts.

OTOH...if that took place in Illinois, everyone BUT the “perps” would have been jailed...sad, sad...

I've been there. It is NOT an area to pull that kind of shenanigans at. In Midddle Tennessee.

Any place outside of Nashville, in Middle Tennessee is a poor choice to try and smash and grab. Especially at a gun store.

Crazy plan. Robbing a gun store during the day with armed gun owners/employees? Bizarre. I am curious what type of gun they tried to grab. There are easier things to rob to get a $500 item than gun stores!

Isn't it easier/safer to steal catalytic converters, electrical copper wiring, and condenser coils?

Just a bloody miracle that six people didn’t get shot.
OTOH, the civilians showed more restraint and situational awareness than some cops of late.

Probably a Glock. Lots of demand in the hood still.

In a city to the north of me they jammed a truck into the cinder block walls of a gun store. Punched an opening by knocking in a small part of the wall and grabbed the guns.

Stealing is wrong, but snatching one gun from a crowded store is just brainless!

They got that idea from the movie Casino. The "Hole in the wall" gang.

Many years ago when stationed in California, I went to a LGS and noticed a large patch of carpet in the center of the store (glass counters on three sides) that didn't match the rest of it. So, I asked. Was told some ne'er-do-well tried an armed robbery and got shot simultaneously from three sides. Carpet there was ruined.

Today in California the LGS employees would probably be arrested.
