I was able to purchase a G19M today. Took advantage of the Salute to Veterans program. I think there are a few variations of the G19M. Mine has AmeriGlo night sights, an M marked barrel. Serial number BEFTxxx.

Would like to have a set of those coated internals.

What is the difference with an M versus the regular 19 Gen5? Is it the sights, extended slide release and internals color? From the photo it appears it has the dreaded front grip cutout along with non-beveled frame. I was under the distinct impression those were considered no-go on Glock's.

I like the 19M model. Thats a very nice choice in firearms you just made. I hope you enjoy it. I really like the features you get with the 19M.

The 19M is the predecessor to the Gen 5 guns. It was built to FBI specifications. The cut out and non-beveled frame are non-issues.

Texas Gun Experience also had blue label 17M’s in stock. Since I was limited to one gun, I went with the 19M.

Great, most people cannot even find any Glock for sale nowadays.
    Enjoy!

Is it the same BL price as a G19 or G19FS? Last I checked BL was around $425 give or take.

It was $510. A few bucks more than a G19 with ANS. I think the $425 you are referring to is with standard sights? I purchased mine at Texas Gun Experience. GT Distributors had some G19M’s with GNS for $499, not sure if they had the coated internals.

Thank you. Yes, the $425 price was the last I checked for the standard plastic sights. I'm glad you like your pistol and it's a very cool find. It would be nice to have 'just because' it's unique. I just got the 19FS and it's nice to be back into the G19 overall. Just really nice pistols (regular .5, M or FS).

Was that a picture before it was fired? If so, could you post pics of the underside of the slide? I'm curious to see the lubrication points the factory used for the copper grease.
