    one you prefer and why.

I got a smooth trigger today at the gun show. Thinking of using it in my G23.

curious which one you prefer and why.

    Happy new Year

I prefer the target trigger, just because. It's all user preference.

I prefer the smooth trigger on a G23 because it is so snappy. It doesn't make much difference on the G19 or G36.

Smooth. I also take 1000 grit sand paper and put a slight contour to the middle of the flat safety lever. I make it match the contour of the trigger when depressed.

The more you shoot at a single session and the heavier the recoil, the more you are likely to chose the smooth trigger. But like the others said, it is a personal thing. Plus some people just have tougher skin on their trigger fingers.

I like the smooth one better than serrated but it is not too big a deal.

I am fairly new to Glock. Had my G30SF for less than a year. From the beginning i have thought I would like a smooth trigger better than the stock trigger. I have done other upgrades so far, but may eventually change to a smooth trigger.

All my Glocks get smooth triggers, if they didn't already come with one.

    It's personal preference.

I have no preference. I don't even know which type of triggers are on my two Glocks.

It's my understanding that the smaller Glocks come with the ribbed 'target' trigger as a condition to import them as sporting arms.
My G26 has the smooth trigger; the serrated one wears on my finger after a lot of rounds.

Earlier last year when I replaced the spings in my 19 and experimented with diferent trigger weight combinations, I decided to order a smooth trigger. Let me just say that I never had a problem with the grooved one even after 100's of rounds in a range session, but I like the smooth better. For me it really is more comfortable no matter how much I shoot. Just my .02.

It is a matter of personal choice. Certain Glocks require a target trigger to achieve the totally stupid BATF point system to be imported. Just another example of politicians proving their inherent stupidity.

I'm not crazy about the feel of the trigger on my G32 so I ordered a 3.5 lb connector last night. I also ordered the smooth trigger at the same time. The trigger order was sort of a "what the hell" kinda thing. I will try it both ways to see which I prefer.
