I'd like to see a Glock 9mm single stack maybe 6-7 rounds, 12-15 oz., $400- $425, I think they would sell well. What do you think?

Yep, we have been begging for one for years. Along with a Glock carbine & single stack full size .45. Take a hard look at the Kahr mini-9mm pistols.

Unfortunately the 26 represents the lower threshold of what's importable into this country based on the BATF point system. You won't see anything smaller unless Glock builds a factory here which isn't likely.

    From TopGlock's FAQ page.

    http://www.topglock.com/info/models.htm

    The BATF point system:

To qualify for import, a pistol must score a total of 75 points.
    CHARACTERISTICS POINTS
    Length: for each 1/4" over 6" 1
    Forged steel frame 15
    Forged HTS alloy frame 20
Unloaded weight with magazine (per oz) 1
    .22 short and .25 auto 0
    .22 LR and 7.65mm to .380 auto 3
    9mm parabellum and over 10
    Locked breech mechanism 5
    Loaded chamber indicator 5
    Grip Saftey 3
    Magazine saftey 5
Firing pin block or lock 10
    External hammer 2
    Double action 10
    Drift adjustable target sight 10
    Target grips 5
    Target trigger 2

    Lets see:

Glock 26 Weighs 22 ounces with mag 22 points
    6.29" long 1 point
    9mm 10 points
    Locked breech 5 points
    Loaded Chamber indicator 5 points
    Firing pin block 10 points
    Double action 10 points
    Drift adjustable sights 10 points
    Target trigger 2 points

    Total 75 points.

Glock could make a single stack 9mm in Austria, but it would have to weigh just as much as a G26 and have the same over all length. Not much advantage to that.

Only way they could make the size and weight you want would be to go with a forged alloy frame.

I ditto the thought by petedalaw.

I've been wanting a baby single stack for years so that it can become my pocket CCW gun instead of my Kahr MK9.

I, too, think that the Smyrna plant getting into frame production signals some smaller Glocks.

I will be one of the first to buy a super-thin Glock 32/.380 to replace my Kel-tec P-32 for pocket carry.

And how about a Glock .22 similar to the Walther p-22?

    We can only hope.

This would be a nice pistol, though I sold off my Kahr PM9 due to being too thin. Nice to carry, sucks to shoot (for me).

OK, let's beat ATF at thier own game. Put a 10" 'Heavy' target barrel on it, one steel magazine with a thick steel base, and a steel or brass plug. Make that little pocket pistol weigh 8 fricken' pounds!

Then sell a short barrel and polymer mags as parts.

    --OR--

Sell a barrel & mags to convert the G30 to 9mm. That would be cool.

Whats the purpose of this points system they use? What purpose does it serve? Just curious as to why they have to have certain features etc.

The reason is very, very simple, gun control by bureaucratic regulation.
