Are there any federal grants or loans available for us? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know the specifics but veterans, especially veterans do have special considerations when it comes to loans given out by the State or by the Feds. Also, when you set up the business, have it registered or certified as Veteran Owned Business or Disabled Veteran Owned Business (if applicable). Depending on your business, if you're a supplier or contractor of some sort, a general contractor would have to give you extra considerations when it comes to reviewing your bid as their vendor or subcontractor. I work for a construction company and as part of our contract with a government entity, we are suppose to have a certain quota for vendors/subcontractors who are minority-owned, women-owned, or veteran-owned businesses.
