I'm glad I got the 3rd Gen. Glock while I still can..

I do like that new recoil spring though.

I hope that is no suprise to anyone. When the Gen 3 came out they stopped making Gen 2's. It makes no sense to continue to make something that has been obsoleted.

    (Is that a word?)

    ...made obsolete...

Anyway, that is interesting. I wasn't up for a Gen 4 until I watched and listened to that clip... hmmmmmm

    I still think I'm getting a 10 MM itch.

I like the looks of the Generation 3 guns much better. That said, I've only seen pictures.

Even if they discontinue Gen.3's it will be a long time coming before there is any shortage of them. Gen.1 17's and Gen.2's are found easily enough. Glock generations will live long lives for sure.

I really don't know why anyone would think the Gen 3's would NOT be going away. That didn't happen with Gen 1's or Gen 2's so why would it happen with Gen 3's?

    Can somebody post a transcript?

Also: I can't wait for Gen4 to come to the compact frames. A G38 with an even smaller grip would blow away the concept that the .45GAP doesn't serve a purpose.

The little carbine they shoot right after talking about the Gen4s, does anybody else think the magazine used in that thing looks like a Glock magazine?

Is this the Glock carbine we've been waiting for?

I believe it's a KRISS. It takes modified G21 mags if I'm not mistaken.

I have to say that a Gen 4 G17 would be nice to have. Its too bad that the recoil assembly isn't backwards compatible. The pistol appeared to have very little muzzle rise for a G17.

If true, what becomes of the 20/21 frames?

Do they go SF with backstraps?

    :dunno:
