I just bought a Brand New Stock Glock 19. I have shot about 60 rounds and cleaned it twice so far. I just got my Spec 308 and Spec 357 Lubes the other day so today I decided to give it a good cleaning. I put the Spec 308 on the grooves of the slide and (this is where I guess I got stupid, but Glock doesn't warn you about this or have a solution that I can find anywhere on the internet) took the slide and with the barrel and guide rod not assembled in the slide put it back on the frame to spread the lube and it will not come back off and I don't know what to do. I tried holding down the trigger while engaging the slide release and pushing forward on the slide and it won't come 1/4" past the frame. I'm really scared I just bought a $500 paper weight. Someone Please Help Me!
