Would like to have the slide on my Glock 17 RTF refinished in a sliver finish (nickel, stainless, or whatever other material they're using nowadays). I would just like to attain the look on a two-tone pistol, black frame and silver slide. Any suggestions on where I can have this done at a reasonable price? Also, would like to have some words engraved into the slide, actually, it's a quote, about 6 words long. Is there any one who can perform both these tasks? Thanks!

Here is mine, you don't get that from polishing it yourself. Mine was done by Elite Custom, they are an advertiser on here.

Nice polish job Bozz. I don't feel comfortable polishing myself, i've never done anything like that and I'd hate myself if I cause irrepairable damage to the slide. Also, it wouldnt solve my engraving issue. Any idea where I can get words engraved on the slide? Something nice, maybe in italic or cursive.

    rockyourglock.com does both..

and i want to say lonewolf distributors?

    edit-

also if i was you id get an aftermarket slide and then engrave that...

that engraving and stuff is going to rip up your tennifer...

plus if you have the after market slide itll already be polished so your saving money on that..

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaannnd.....

in case shtf you still have your original slide for rough and tumble situations so you dont mess up your pretty one.

I remember someone talking about what a job the folks over at rockyourglock.com did on their glock. They have some pretty snazzy pics on their web-site.

Thanks! That is hard chrome on there, not just someone polishing it. I think the shop that did mine can do some engraving of the lettering you want too.
